About me

My career began in 1978 as a teacher of physical education and humanities. As a very dedicated and ambitious teacher I was determined to seek senior positions early. By the age of thirty I attained my first deputy headship in a secondary school giving me further opportunities to shape policies and events in a very real way.

I have worked principally in the North-West and East of England where my second and final Deputy Headteacher position took me to Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. Socially I have many hobbies and sports. This has given me further opportunities to host events especially as a committee member at three different running clubs.

I can make your special event memorable for all the right reasons. I love detail. I plan assiduously so that on the day itself I am calm and measured, able to handle changes with a minimum of fuss.

My experience

During the early summer of 2016 I conducted a number of weddings and a single funeral ‘celebration of life’ before I even had a chance to advertise my services.

My training

I am now a Fellow of the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters. The training with this esteemed organisation was very thorough and exacting... but at the end of it all my confidence has soared.

For further information on the training I received and the role of the Toastmaster please visit their website.

So, try me! Get in touch by phone or email to discuss your requirements and I will do my utmost to make sure that your event is memorable for all the right reasons.
